Self-Portrait by Karl Graham at City Hall Gallery
Exhibit featuring Karl Graham works titled "Self-Portrait".
The City Of Annapolis and it's Art in Public Places Commission is proud to present in the City Hall Gallery an exhibit titled "Self-Portrait" by Karl Graham through February 28th. An Artist reception will be held on Monday, February 10th 5:30pm to 7:00pm with light refreshments to be served. If you look closely at the artistic creations of an artist, you will see something about the artist or a part of the artist in the image. It does not have to be a literal self-portrait, but it will be a representation of the artist in some way or form. The artwork can be a magnifying glass into the artist's soul, a hint of a mood, or a portal into the mind of the artist. It appears without thought. The artist is not always aware of this phenomenon, but it is there. Every self-portrait is not an exact image of the artist. Some are subtle hints, some are more obvious than others, and some are what they are said to be. I consider all of my artwork to be a portrait of me. Everything I create is a representation of me, of my emotions, and of who I am. - Karl Graham
