BeatCancer.org, is a 35 year old nonprofit, based in Richboro, Pennsylvania, that provides research-based education on how to prevent, cope with and beat cancer through diet, lifestyle and other immune-boosting approaches. The organization raises money for prevention educations, rather than research, believing that prevention is the cure. Every dollar donated goes toward helping a patient in need or educating the public. Its prevention programs focus on true prevention, not just early detection. Dr. Susan Silberstein has served as Executive Director of the CACE since she founded the organization in October 1977, after the death of her young husband to cancer.

Cost: Free. Location: 3025 Walnut St., Philadelphia. For more information and reservations, call 215-942-6438 or visit BeatCancer.org.
