Improving Your Whole Body Health Course at Greenshire

Kristen for Greenshire NBThis fall, Greenshire Arts Consortium is piloting a new program, Improving Your Whole Body Health, with the intention to help participants reclaim the health of their body, mind and spirit. The eight-week experiential course, which runs from 9 to 10 a.m., Wednesdays, beginning October 16, shows participants how to use yogic postures, chakra balancing, breathing practices and meditation with the purpose of unsheathing the layers of consciousness, opening energetic pathways, increasing circulation and relieving stress.

“So often we are completely engulfed with life responsibilities that we tend to offer more care and compassion to others when we ourselves are in great need of the same,” says new Greenshire instructor Kristen Allis Urffer. “Once we open more to the natural flow of our energies, we can reclaim vitality and become more able to share positive energies with family, workplace and community.” Greenshire Arts Consortium is a nonprofit dedicated to helping people improve their quality of life while they strengthen, revitalize and explore new horizons through holistic studies, creative arts, retreats, conversation and community involvement.

Cost: $80 for series. Location: 3620 Sterner Mill Rd., Quakertown. For more information, call 215-538-0976 or visit GreenshireArts.org. October 2013
