Recipe: Flavorful Sautéed Swiss Chard

Vegetarian, Vegan, Raw, Gluten-free YIELDS: 2 servings

  • 4 cups Swiss chard
  • 1 cup sliced Vidalia onion
  • 2 Tbsp chopped garlic
  • 2 Tbsp avocado or olive oil

Rinse, drain and tear each leaf into thirds. Heat oil on medium-high in skillet for 2 minutes. Add onion and sauté for 3 to 5 minutes, until the mixture starts to brown. Add garlic and sauté for 1 minute. Add Swiss chard and sauté for about 5 minutes or until wilted and flavors have melded. Serve immediately.
